Blackfishes, Girellidae

2 species of Blackfishes are posted.
Blackfishes live in shallow reef areas, and three species are distributed in Japan. Their diet is omnivorous, eating seaweeds and crustaceans. They are known as target fish for fishing and are popular because of their strong action.
