Squamata
Seven kinds of Squamata are posted.
Squamata includes lizards, snakes, geckos, iguanas, etc., and is composed of more than 7,000 species.
It is widely distributed from the Arctic Circle to the tropics, and some species live in the ocean.
Sea snakes are seen in diving in Japan, but it is easy to confuse them because there are sea snakes of Squamata and sea snakes of fish.
Sea snakes have a strong poison, so be careful at diving.
