The lineage was reviewed by genetic research, and the scientific name was given in 1997. Includes camels, wild boars, cows, deer, giraffes, hippo, and whales and dolphins.
Cetartiodactyla is characterized by bronchi, and only the right trachea branches and connects to the right lung.
